Workstation Requirements:

 

  • A desktop or tower computer with a separate monitor (all-in-one, dual boot machines, Netbooks, or tablets are not permitted)

  • CPU: 1 Ghz dual core processor or higher

  • Operating System: Windows XP, Windows 7, or Windows 8/8.1 (Windows 8/8.1 only permitted for clients that require use of secure desktop)

  • Windows 10 and MAC are not supported at this time

  • Memory: 1GB of RAM for Windows XP, 2 GB of RAM for Windows 7 and Windows 8/8.1

  • Monitor: 1280x1024 (SXGA) screen resolution is acceptable but 1920x1080 (full HD or 1080p) is recommended

  • A landline telephone devoid of features (i.e. no call waiting, voicemail, caller ID, fax, or other features with the exception of long distance service)

  • Hard-wired telephone (landline) must be equipped with a headphone jack so that a  headset can be plugged in for use (VOIP, MagicJack are prohibited)

  • USB headset with noise cancelling microphone (Logitech, Plantronics, Microsoft, or similar brands)

  • Internet Explorer 8.0 or 9.0

  • Microsoft Security Essentials

  • Hard-wired 3.0 Mbps download and 1.0 Mbps upload, broadband Internet service via DSL, cable, or fiber optic connection (wireless connections pose a security risk and are not permitted)
